Debbie, I take ANY rumor w/huge grain of salt these days so not offended question away! But my response may NOT be what you & Tea fans want to hear but here goes... Tea's character & her ties to Llanview weren't well-developed on their own outside of Todd, that sucks she deserved better but that’s reality. W/out Todd onscreen, Tea return just isn't something TPTB seem interested in pursuing.And reality of timing is IF Roger decides to exit in May, Tea mystery remains a viable & open-ended exit story for Todd so yes a Tea decision can hinge on Roger’s. The marketability of Tea returns appeals MOST w/Todd on screen, not off, bottom line. You know, I can see it from this perspective as well, that FL may want to know what his intentions are. She was burned badly the last time when he left, and if she knows she's coming back to be a part of story with him, I'd imagine she'd want some assurances of her own. Don't blame her one bit. Pilar, just to probe a bit further-are you saying your understanding is that once RH's status is known, the picture about if/how long FL is back is clear? I've felt all along that without a Todd on canvas there wouldn't be a Téa either. It's sad because FL is so talented and the character is ripe for exporation separately, but she's seen as part of a supercouple. Debbie, take w/HUGE grain of salt, FL/Tea news hinges on FIRST learning what Roger decides, yes. New hwers are working on May sweeps already, need to know whether to pen Todd exit or not! Also, FL’s been hesitant to return to soaps, she may choose to pursue theater work during strike instead of being tied so closely aligned w/a here today gone tomorrow actor. btw, GT has his plate full w/new HW, strike looming, exiting characters right & left, working on getting a Dorian back on screen... amidst that he had to negotiate a commitment from LEADING star, Roger, before making decisions for Todd’s future and possibly Tea’s, too. One more question, Pilar, LOL. Is it your impression that if RH leaves, FL would only return for exit, or is it conceivable that May sweeps would begin a story? I guess I'm asking if you're thinking is that FL would only come back short term. I actually think it would be smart for both actors to sign on for a short stint, one that ends before pilot season starts up again. Don’t have answers to your questions, wish I did, but GT has proven quite unpredictable in his decisions. W/Jilly, it was a given Tea mystery was written on purpose to allow easy Roger exit w/FL agreeing to return favor. I don’t know if FL is interested in any long-term commitment or not, only know Roger’s numerous outclauses & recent extension speak for themselves, he’s not willing yet to commit to OLTL for any lengthy stay.
