Elisa, JMHO, entire show was BETTER written for like 3 weeks, not just Todd's story but I watched live Adam & Skye, Ben & Renee, so many good confrontations, well done cliffhangers. The jailhouse scenes gave me some hope more of a T&B story was emerging from BnTrash. Writing was night & day improvement, it's easy now to pick out what was GT's handiwork & rest is McHack's crap. I keep trying to figure that one out too, IA. It's like they dangled what Todd under Tomlin's vision could be in front of us and then yanked that away to be replaced by this again...I was really hoping this was McT's influence, and that Tomlin had pushed his vision in there and hers out...I guess part of me is still hoping that once she's off the credits, another reversal will happen...I dunno. Hi m&m gal, suffering whiplash myself by abrupt "character" changes. Colin went from dark & menacing to whiney & cartoon villain so HIS story went bust just like Todd's has gone. Part of me feels like GT gave up on the tall order of trying to make McT's scripts work, just threw up his hands in defeat after sweeps & waited for new HWers to tackle full-time WRITING job. I have a different take, Elisa, on Blair. Unlike Malone, these writers aren't whitewashing her selfish, shallow, self-centered ugliness in THIS story. Her WORST traits, inability to accept any responsibility, feel any true remorse & her habitual lying, deluded, pathetic "poor me" routine reeks of Lindsay... Contrast Blair w/a Carly. Sonny tends to soften Carly as her redeeming traits, fierce loyalty & love shine forth. But w/Todd, Blair appears MORE jaded, selfish b!tch, than ever, she loses any sign of softness that might help sell her character/pairing to non-Blairian fans.
