Subject: I had almost given up on "Buffy" last year with Spike being de-vamped, standing around feeling sorry for himself, and the whole Initiative thing, but I was very pleasantly surprised with this year. Spike's been much much better, and Buffy's got her inner strength back that she seemed to be missing last year. I keep trying to read Anne Rice, but I always get bored with all the background description and give up before it gets around to any action. Just don't have that much patience anymore.
In reply to: Pilar 's message, "Buffy THIS season has been anything but juvenile, IMO, JW has matured the themes & revisited what exactly is a SLAYER w/Spike providing some thought-provoking insights. As for Anne Rice, here we part company I don't really care much for her twisting of vampire legends. And I preferred tortured Louis for Roger actually! Go figure, :-)" on 14:31:31 03/16/01 Fri
