Subject: Hey Pilar! I just had to say something. I believe the charm and appeal (for me of course) of Todd is his ability to be so incredibly multi-layered. Now I just admitted above that I loved the charater Pete, which I believe we saw glimpses of before August 1998! I'm going to be prolific again...I can feel it....click inside at your own risk!

No one, but no one could walk into the tall, dead guy's funeral and disrupt it and still have the fans clamoring for more (including Tea) but Todd. No one but no one could strap TNT around his waist (oh the mental pic on that one...YUMMY!) and take 14 of Llanview's finest (debateable) and get away with it SCOTT/Tom/Rrrod/Pete/Perkins/Todd FREE!!! Todd is Todd. He's a mixed up jumble of emotions, an empty shell of a man, true. But he's also a convicted rapist and murderer (it could be argued) to boot! But, he's also a wonderful guy who is intelligent as hell, has a way with kids and animals and has an irreverant sense of humor, ergo, I like him!

Now with all of that said, why can't I like all of him? Must I only adore and want the menacing Todd that sends chills up and down my spine? (Strike that question! LOL) Must I only want the man who is pouring his heart out, laying all wounds, open on the table, salt already poured? Why can't I choose a favorite Todd and Tea scene? Because there are so many different parts to them. Ask me my favorite romantic scene and hands down it's the proposal. Ask me my favorite sad scene and hands down it's the snow at the Bayberry. Ask me my favorite emotion filled scene and hands down it's the assisted suicide. Ask me the first thing that comes to mind about Todd and Tea and for some freaky reason, first words out of my mouth are ALWAYS, "No fair swappin' clothes. Don't think I can wear those short skirts of yours!" Funny Todd is who I like to quote. Funny Todd is who I love to think about. When I try to pull quotes from Todd, unless there's a certain situation I'm trying to be appropriate with, I always go for the oneliners. Mstress, Queen of Cyberspace used to put together Todd Quotes each and every week, pulling out his oneliners. She even had to bend her 10 rule many weeks to fit them all in. It's my experience and what I bring to the table. You may all think he's being goofy and "Gilligan" but I liked Gilligan. I don't think I want to see Todd in a remake of Gilligan's Island, but then, I don't think I'd have the same aversion as some might, if he DID ever do a remake of it! LOL. Would you rather him be the Skipper? (Perish the thought!)

My point, that I'm just skirting (notice that short skirt popping up here again? LOL) is this. Many fans want to see Todd, emotion-filled and angst filled and just running on empty. Others want to see Todd Lord, but maybe with Tea as his leading lady. TNT2 was an incredibly hard concept to buy into, but once I bought into it, I felt mature and accepting of the concept. It's a huge picture to get, as was most of TNT. Therefore, it fit! Just like TNT do. But I don't need angst filled. I'd get a kick out of a TNT3 make up and then watch Todd in the oddest of situations. I used to get boo-ed off the AOL/OLTL boards with these thoughts, so why not go for two! LOL

I wanted (and still want) to see Todd sitting in those wee little chairs at a parent/teacher conference at Starr's school. I want to see Todd at a PTA meeting. I want to see Todd on a soccer field, watching Starr's coach make the mistake of pulling her from the game and have Todd intimidating and manipulating the poor little soccer coach, so badly and to the point of the coach handing Todd the soccer whistle and clipboard and telling HIM he's the NEW coach! LMAO!

I wanted Todd and Tea in a jacuzzi, only to be "interrupted" by one of Starr's rubber duckies! I think that's part of why I liked Bo and Nora so much. They were just cute with their antics. And I miss the light heartedness. Todd can only attempt to kill so many people before I loose interest.......(NOTICE: I'm there already!) I can only watch Todd not trust Blair and I can only watch Blair betray Todd so many times.......(NOTICE: I'm there already!) I can only watch Todd manipulate and hurt people so many times! So I get a kick out of the oxymoronicness of Todd telling all of Llanview to "Stop in the name of the law!" I get my kicks from weird places. I'm sticking with this stupid show through all of it's GED (my own personal acronym!) All I can say, is for ME, Tea better be at the end of this trip! Because, in the end, for me, TNT is all that counts!
