Subject: I have to nominate two commercials, since they are equally wretching. At the top of my list is the Sherwin-Williams girl. God, how much more of an affectation can that chick put on? Number two is the male and female voices of the Cumberland Farms spots. Or ,Cumby's as they affectionately refer to it. Can you imagine being trapped with either one of them in an elevator? I would pray for God to take me at that instant.
In reply to: Tilde 's message, "The singing in Desert Dry was definitely stomach-wrenching, but my vote for worst commercials overall are any that claim to 'promote' or 'support' any aspect of your health. BULLS**T! Period. Sped-up, digitally chopped lawyer voices at the end of car and other ads come in a close second." on 22:54:15 01/14/03 Tue
