Subject: I hope that post was being sarcastic. My neighbor owns a restaurant and a WPHT sales rep has called on him 3 times trying to sell this turkey. They must be desperate, he tells me, because the price is practically a giveaway. I do not understand what is so interesting or compelling about this event. At least Wingbowl has entertainment value. This event will appeal to only Italian grandmothers in South Philly.

You've got to be nuts! Gravy only an interest to 'talian grandmudders in Salfilly? Get a life! I learned the fine art of gravy making when I was about 10 yo from the mothers of my two best friends, who happened to be Italian. One was the wife of a barber, the other the wife of a doctor. I am Irish and I make incredible great gravy called "Davey Gravy". Amongst the people who have raved over it are people of German, English, Scottish, Armenian, and YES Italians too! You are a poor little sheep who has gone astray! Blah! Blah! Blah! Mange and enjoy!
