Subject: Another interesting note, Doherty was a frontrunner for the Tulsa opeing before they recently hired Doug Wojcik, a Tom Izzo assistant who was an assistant under Doherty at UNC. It seems that if you want a D1 head coaching job, go work under Izzo for a few years, its like a head coaching factory there.
In reply to: Jombo65 's message, "Notre Dame to UNC to Stony Brook. That is bizarre. On the other hand he may not have had any offers since leaving UNC. Speaking of UNC, if they win tonight I am tied in a pool. The tiebreaker is total pts. I picked 132, the other entrant picked 172. Any thoughts on which is a theoretically better pick. If the total is 151 or less I win." on Mon April 04, 2005 11:17:52
