• Who are all you "new" posters here suddenly defending Rambacker??? This is your first time posting on this board, a bit of a coincidence wouldn't you say? Bottom line is most of us know eachother or know some of the other posters here. We all go to the games and occassionally the functions. For some odd reason, the guy that posts the most , by far, is known to nobody, has never identified himself at a function and chooses to remain anonymous. I mean, this is just basketball we are talking about here so hiding like that is a tad strange, but hey, to each his own. Right , wrong or indifferent, that type of MO is going to catch flack. As pointed out its basketball for god sakes, not nuclear secrets.       • I disagree. One of the prerogatives of the Internet (which is why boards like this use handles rather than real names) is that you can protect your privacy if you wish. Personally, I don't care who Rambacker is or isn't. I just look forward to the information he presents here. If he wants to remain anonymous, that's his choice. He doesn't owe it to anybody to say who he is, where he is from, or where he might be going to on business today or tomorrow. I actually think he's having his fun watching some of the people on this board hop all over themselves trying to "unmask" him.           • But aren't the people who are criticizing him for doing this also berating him for simply quoting information that is publicly available on recruiting websites? It seems his critics are trying to have it both ways, i.e. he is wrong for a) anonymously reporting "secret information" the staff doesn't want revealed, and b) he is rehashing information that is available to one and all on the Internet. Don't flatter yourself, guy- I really could care less what you do on these boards. If you want to pretend you're the "all-knowing source" for Fordham basketball information by posting every "breaking" news story from a media outlet, by all means, be my guest.         • People that have a problem with Rambacker were probably spanked by him at one time or another, Frank cronies or some bizzare Iona troll. They think if they spew out something annoying everytime he posts that they can shut him up. Not gonna happen.             • I have never posted under a different name than this, although I have posted less this past year. What you don't get is that those of us that are not as close to FU's inner workings and the college hoop scene appreciate, maybe even rely, on RB's updates for our info. You/Slambacker/other multiple name posters contribute nothing. I don't contribute anything either, but I don't sling mud at those that do.               • I have no problem with RB's updates. My problem is when he commits copyright infringement, ie. blatantly stealing information from other websites and claiming it as his own. You are entitled to your opinion about me (whether it's informed or otherwise), but know that I am not trying to prevent people on this board from getting information.     • FC my response was not directed to Rambacker nor did it have anything to do with his recruiting posts. I haven't crticized any of the recruiting posts. The point was in response to the poster calling for deletion of posts. Banning posters for violating rules 1-5 would have applied to Rambacker, Guy F, and a host of others who engaged in a silly name calling feud for many months. Now as to calling someone a joke, I would be more than happy to discuss that with you face to face at the next MJ Armstrong's reception. I sit in section 106, row D seat 2 should you care to discuss your comments in person at a game. I know most of the guys so please be sure to come introduce yourself.
