Subject: Well, Ram'83 has a good point above about consistency and these types of calls. You could probably call travels and double dribbles/carries all the time but people do not pay to watch the referee. I would not assume favortism here and if anything, the referee did his job, although arguably inconsitently as they could always call more violations. If anything, he was probably looking for a call to call on the defense given the situation but the defense didn't really commit a foul there and an ugly awkward offensive play occurred and he called a travel.
