Subject: generally, yes, the top talent signs in the fall but there are alot of players who fall through the cracks and don't sign until the spring. Marcus Stout and Kevin Anderson signed w/ us last spring and they proved to be solid players. I think DW is one of those coaches who knows where to find the "tweeners" -- players who could play in the A-10 but go to the MAAC. Players like Jason Wingate, Peter Mulligan, and Keydren Clark. I think those are the types of players than DW can look to sign in the spring. Based on the record to date, I'm pretty optimistic that we'll sign a player who will help us next year and thereafter.
In reply to: Air Hej '02 's message, "Are there any guards available who fit that bill? I am not super knowledgeable on the recruiting process, but doesn't the top talent usually sign in the fall?" on Mon March 28, 2005 13:03:36
