Author: Marco (CBA 07)
Subject: The Ram interviews DW

Just a short excerpt:

"Are you concerned with recruiting a point guard who can score or trying to improve Kevin Anderson's perimeter game?

We want Kevin to improve. We want him to have the confidence that he had at that St. Bonaventure game (Kevin hit two three pointers in the first half against the Bonnies). Kevin is very capable of making shots and if he works hard we know that if teams continue to leave him open late in the game he will bury teams. He can be as great a shooter as he wants."

"There have been grumblings that once you get this program to improve, you will eventually jump ship to your alma-mater, North Carolina State. How big of a goal is that for you?

It's not a big goal at all. Everyone kind of assumes that because of my popularity with what I did there -- that I want to go there as soon as I can -- but that is not a goal of mine. I didn't know I would end up at Wagner, or Georgia Tech, or Fordham. My ultimate goal is to have a program that wins a national championship. That usually means being at a high level program but that may be here. Until then, I want to have a solid program and I want my teams to have high graduation rates."

Sorry, you'll have to wait for the online version for the rest.
