Listening to FAN yesterday and Dennis talking about Knight at Rose Hill with West Point in '71 season; this prompted a call from a '72 graduate about the '71 season and an extended and knowledgeable discussion about that team and the postseason; Francesca particularly emphasized the Marquette game as the highlight of that season; Mad Dog was recounting Charlie's stats in all 3 post-season games,as well as Howard Porter's against us and UCLA. I heard this conversation on the radio. too and I was at the game. I would have sworn that Bobby Knight was still coaching Army. Unless I am dreaming, Bobby was losing control as we were running up the score(something I never like to see) and I recall Bobby physically picking up one of his players and sitting him down on the bench with an emphatic "thump".
