Subject: Fordham Baseball

Just got back from the Fordham-Winthrop baseball game in Rock Hill, SC. The score was tied 2-2 in the bottom of the tenth when I left. The Rams looked good against a strong Winthrop team ranked in the top 25 a few weeks ago. Fordham has a very young team with fifteen freshmen and sophmores. Winthrop scored an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game. Fordham had used six pitchers going into the tenth inning with a sophmore, Javier Martinez, looking real good pitching the eighth and ninth innings.
