Here's the status of some of the players we recruited in the Fall of '04 and Spring of '05:

Point Guard

Tyrone Appleton, 6' 2", Bridgeton Academy, Maine. Will prep for a 2nd year.
Chris Lowe, 6', Mt. Vernon, NY HS. Signed with UMass.
Kevin White, 5' 11", Lincoln HS, NYC. Unsigned(will prep)
Mike Trimboli, 6' 1", St. Luke's School, CT. Undecided - being recruited by Vermont, Manhattan, Eastern Kentucky and Kent State.

Frontcourt

James Craft, 6' 11", Mercersburg Academy, PA. Signed with Wright State.
Desmond Adedeji, 6' 9", MD. Signed with Dayton.
Alvin Mofunyanya, 6' 9", MD. Signed with St. Joe's.
Taj Gibson, 6' 8", Stoneridge Prep, CA. Being recruited by high majors like UConn and Georgetown.
Paul Johnson, 6' 7", Gonzaga HS, MD. Committed to LaSalle(an excellent get for the Explorers)
Skyler Khaleel, 6' 5", Northfield Mt. Hermon. Committed to Loyola, MD.(will be a star in the MAAC)
Cameron Lewis, 6' 8", Phillips Exeter, NH. Signed with Penn.

        So let me get this straight- you'd rather trust the information of an AAU coach who only PLAYED against Trimboli versus the guy who coaches him in AAU and high school basketball (and is handling his recruitment)?? That is the most assinine thing I've ever heard. Stop trying to pretend that you're an authority on these prospects with this third-hand info. And actually, Scout.com also cites Manhattan's interest per his coach, Billy Lovett. Are you implying that your sources are more credible? That's preposterous. Give it up, old man.         The coach I know has knowledge of the entire recruiting situation for this second tier player. Everything he told me has been confirmed by a 2nd source today.
