Subject: You need to go to a bar that has signed up for the NCAA package. I watched almost all of last year's tournament at MJ Armstrong's and they had every game on in its entirety. I no longer live near Armstrong's so that has not been a possibility this year, but next year I am going to get DirectTV and sign up for their package which also allows you to see the games in all 4 regions (I think they have 3 channels that show the games and then you also get your local CBS affiliate, so it is not perfect, but close to it). I actually do not mind Duke, but that game between Bucknell and Wisconsin got to the point where it was the game to watch, not Duke/Miss. St.
In reply to: '85 's message, "I was very disappointed, went to bar to catch the Bucknell game yesterday and had to stomach Duke all afternoon, all they did was one 5 second snipet of a free throw during Bucknell Wisconsin. I was with two ex Chamiande guys, one of whom played for Bucknell, very disappointing and how much Duke must we suffer. One network doesn't work in these situations. Its too bad., Bucknell was actually up by 2 in second half." on Mon March 21, 2005 14:34:36

  • Duke/Miss St. was actually a great game. It would have been nice if CBS had flipped to Bucknell/Wisconsin when the game was tight. (NT) -- Air Hej '02, Mon March 21, 2005 15:20:05
