Let them all continue to go pro directly if it suits them; those with talent will be able to compete, those without will fall away. College sports ideally should be about genuine student-athletes who really want to learn and play, not just serve as a way station for aspiring pros who couldn't care less about academics. The need for fresh fodder to be exploited by Dickie V. and the machinery shouldn't be a factor here. This proposal from Dickie V. is strictly self-serving. In reply to:
