Subject: Good list. The problem with the Big East teams like Georgetown, Nova and Marquette is getting the return games. Most of them already play in the Garden against St. John's and the BE has that league rule that requires minimum seating capacity for away games(6500?). I like UCLA and USC a lot - we could probably do a home and home with our home game at MSG for those two teams. Loyola, Chicago makes sense for student recruiting purposes in Chicago and the Jesuit connection.
In reply to: John 's message, "(1) Georgetown; (2) Villanova; (3) Marquette; (4) UCLA, USC or LMU (my chance to visit the folks back home); (5) Providence; (6) Loyola (Chi.); (7) San Francisco; (8) Gonzaga; (9) St. John's ; (10) IUPUI (just so I can figure out where they're from and what it stands for)." on Wed April 27, 2005 19:43:48
