Their overall season record is better than Iowa's and their out of conference strength of schedule and RPI are solid enough to get them in. Maybe all the numbers I provided confused you into thinking that I was arguing that Indiana should have been included, but I was not. My ultimate point is that the committee is showing that it does not pay to have a top 15 to 20 OOC SOS if you do not win. It therefore makes more sense to have an OOC SOS close to or below 100 with a few added victories. Both Indiana and St. Joe's are proof of that, though GW getting a 12 seed makes me wonder a bit about that b/c it looks like they would have been out had they not won the A-10." on Mon March 14, 2005 09:35:24
