Subject: Thanks for the update, Upstate(humor intended). I hear the staff is taking a serious look at Jeremy Harper - apparently the kid can play and would fit in well. Supposedly a great kid.

He's a former student of mine and a nice kid, but didn't play much for his HS team until senior year, as he was behind Tyler Relph (NYS player of the year, now waiting out a year as a transfer to Bonnies) and Jack Leasure (who averaged 14.5 as a freshman this year at Coastal Carolina). BTW my sources tell me that Tyler Relph has to hit the books to remain eligible for SBU next year; if he doesn't that would be a real blow to Solomon's rebuilding efforts. I think Lowe will end up at a prep school. Would like us to get Appleton or Ross. White is an OK player, but so far only has offers from Rider and Canisius, so you might question his A-10 credentials. We need a PG who can also score." on Sat March 12, 2005 12:52:39
