 I know, not really a well thought out remark but dang! I don't know what to say other than dang! I hope you can use the stuff you bought at least at home (like you should have had to buy all that for nothing!). I'll probably be the bad parent and wait to buy everything until after school starts. A pencil and notebook will be in their backpacks. LOL

Of course, now Chris is thinking I should homeschool kindergarten for Lauren (long story off internet kind of thing) so that I can take a vacation to the states next fall. LOL LOL LOL I was like um...honey...they learn more in K than we did. LOL I don't know that I have the patience or the organizational skill for it. The preschool stuff we do is hard enough to get her to stay interested. PLUS, I wanted to go back to school and change my major so I can get qualified for a CC4 or GS position (for working at the child development center once the girls are both in school). I can't go to Central Texas College while in NJ, NV or CA if I have to attend classes here! BUT having that vacation might be nice...

anyway...if you can't use the stuff at home maybe you can scribble over his name and do they have a place to donate to the kids who need help? I know you really can't afford to buy all new either but if you can't use them then at least someone might be able to. I do think it's rude thought that the district waited so long to send out a revised list.
