You are right of course Carolyn, parking is a problem as with any smaller town. I also agree with the point about people spending out of town. On the other hand with a good mix in Abertillery, that entrepeneur who is wondering whether to risk opening a restaurant or bookshop in the town or play it safe and looks in Abergavenny, etc MIGHT take the risk.
