  • With 2 of the main instigators (Brown and Thomas) on the way out of the game and the possibility of central contracts around the corner. The people that caused the upset back then may well be out of the picture sooner rather than later. But in fairness it was still a huge performance by the players on the field (and Ruddock).     • There are a LOT of players who blackmailed, threatned strike and wanted us out of existance for further their wallets in that wales squad.   • Who? The players that wanted us dead to boost their own wallets, ie those wales squad players who at the time of the G6 were playing for those 6 clubs. They deserve no support and were quite happy to have us removed permanently. It may be a long wait but until that day i dont want them to win a single match. • I agree with Alan. No one is more bitter than me about the WRU/Dragons/Gang of 6 carve up/stitch out , but this was a truly great Welsh display to rank alongside 1975 in Paris and all that.   • Sorry but those G6 players showed no pride or honour to their country - they threatened to strike in the biggest tournament purely to get rid of us to get more money for themselves. • Utter tripe! There was never ever a threat that they would not play play for wales! Also ur case is flawed on the grounds that at the time of the dispute, players like Sidoli were not part of it.   • You need to go and re-read about the G6. Just prior to wales playing england in the championship the players threatened strike unless the G6 got its way. The game was in threat until the week before. Sidoli WAS playing for pontypridd at the time and refused to speak out against the G6 plans. • The only players that should have blame pointed at them are the following. Howley, Marinos, Quinnell, Andy Moore, Budgett, Mark Taylor. These were the only members of the welsh squad that threatened not to train. THis is bad yes, but even they did not threaten to not play, and none are featuring now.
