Subject: Very harsh given other bans for other offences (inside)

2 match ban.

He'd have been better off deliberately stamping on someones face then in the warped WRU "Discipline" system.

It was a 2nd yellow card offence he got and even more annoyingly he was exactly right with his call. His first card was deserved as even he admitted but the 2nd one for shouting that when he was 100% correct and the ref had made a wrong call is ridiculous.

We do seem to have an issue with megalomaniac refs. Watch a typical international game with ref link (or any other game). The amount of back chat there is incredible, every single ruck/maul/tackle you have at least 5 players all yellow something at the referee and criticising. You dont see people carded for it, the most you see if a 10 meter retreat

It looks here like he's being made an example of and cant help wondering if referees would get less abuse from players and crowd alike if they actually refereed properly and most consistently - since the axing of professional rugby the quality of refs has sunk in line with the clubs. Some are so out of their depth its incredible.
