Subject: Battery issues

I have a '00 TLR with some electrical issues. Battery is 2 months old. Riding the other day and shut down to wait for a group, when I went to fire her back up the battery was totally dead (hardly enough to light up the neutral light). I charged the battery overnight. Ran fine for a week, but today I started it up, came back to it a minute later and the engine was running, but all the electrical was dead(lights, tach, odometer, ect.). I killed it and now it is totally dead again. Can anyone with more electrical knowledge than me give me an idea of where to start?
