Subject: All the replacement's dispense with that piece of crap rotary damper... Depend's on your budget and if you want to keep the link... The Penske and Bitubo mount where the stock spring unit resides in stock form.. The Ohlin's is mounted staight off the L/H swingarm lug's where the rotary picks up and is attached to the frame via adapter plates..... WP also do a replacement shock, which is best is only personal opinion
In reply to: JAB 's message, "any replacments for the whole rear rotary dampener, any after market shock setups, that remove the entire rotary dampener, the tlr is my first bike with a rotary dampener, im not really fond of it, is there any one that agrees, or am i off the handle on this one, and can any one give an example on the pros, and cons of rotary dampener stlye rear suspensions" on 23:24:07 06/26/04 Sat

  • Yup, what he said. A bunch of options, all are better than the stock damper and save weight as well. I've got the Ohlins and have been very pleased. (NT) -- dgrace (NorCal), 16:30:57 06/27/04 Sun
