Some '97 TLS frames have develloped cracks near the radiator mounts there's a yahoo group covering this.
About AussiePaul's comment, I can't imagine the solid TLR frame cracking from normal use and I have never heard of it yet. We don't want to spread rumours because it will devaluate our beloved TLR's. The mix-up between the two different types is easy made for people who don't know what they're talking about. Unfortunately TLR is haunted by the TLS's somewhat bad reputation already.
