Subject: 1998 Tl1000R HARD TO START

Hi,
I got a 1998 TL1000R from a friend who has had it along time but it has been giving him no ends of trouble, no one can seem to solve the problem of the bike being hard to start.

What I mean is that if you leave the bike for a day or two, It takes five or six times before it starts, but when you have it runnung for awhile it starts right away if its hot.

A mechanic told him that the plugs are being flooded when the bike is parked. I dont understand could someone tell me if this can be true and what could correct this problem, I would like to set up the bike because I like the bike.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
