In reply to: pete 's message, "fuel pump" on 21:33:50 06/04/04 Fri

The fuelpump turns until it reaches enough pressure. When you start the engine, the fuel gets consumed, the pressure drops and the pump starts spinning again, but you won't hear it because the engine is running.
The fuelpump relay is permanently engaged when the ignition is on, and the sidestand, kill switch and tip-over sensor are their 'running' position, so the fuelpump switch is 'built in' into the fuelpump assembly.

Am I right?
