Cool, thanks Jay

I am half way through studying classical Chinese medicine as part of my preparation for what I think is coming, and thus I am kinda limited in funds so I am just trying to get my head around all the differing opinions out there. I can afford 1 cheap boat and a little cheap material to work on it and I need to make sure I choose wisely coz there is no room for error!

I have some tools and skills that might come in handy in fixing up a boat, and originally was thinking of developing them by building a kayak and small (sailing) dingy then working up to a larger boat, but as people rightly point out that takes a lot of time...

While I am here, anybody got any refs for good marine surveyors in the LA/Ventura/San Diego area?
