Subject: OT - Monk aboard submarine

I hardly ever watch Monk (my own quirkinesses are enough! LOL), but yesterday I was watching an ep where he investigates a murder aboard a Navy submarine and I kept thinking... Weīve seen some unrealistic stuff in JAG but this one takes the cake!! NCIS rules the death a suicide, but a lieutenant is not convinced and decides to call Monk's assistant (canīt remember her name...) and ask for help. Without the skipperīs permission - or even knowledge - they board the sub and start snooping around it!! Then, they have an emergency drill and Monk canīt leave the sub. No, really.............

What a silly, silly plot!!

[> I used to watch Monk, but stopped when they changed assistants. I guess I should have given it a chance, I almost missed out on JAG for the same reason. Gotta work on that. Not ready for Christmas greenery yet, gotta digest the turkey first. LOL! -- Carrotts, waving from Chicago and Mom's house, 16:49:32 11/24/08 Mon

[> I guess it was aboard the S.S. Monk Fish. Gibbs would have eaten him alive! Gee, the other night I saw "Bud" running a "Walmart-like" store, and a few nights earlier "Sturgis" was a bit player in another show. It makes on long for the good, old days! -- Postrider, thinking about the good old days of lime-green bikinis..., 15:29:20 11/25/08 Tue
