Well actually yesterday was the wonderful day, the jury is still out on today, but:

1) I was able to bid a Merry Christmas and farewell to my boss on yesterday. Won't see the likes of him till the new year.

2) Finished all my shopping for the boy without having to step in the mall even once. Let's hear it for on-line shopping!

3) And last night I passed my test for a second degree black belt. I can finally relax and enjoy my holidays!

However, if I have to listen to "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!" one more time, the radio station is going to hear from me....loud and long. very long. and very loud. very.

Well, I finally did it. I took the leap of faith (no, not THAT leap!)... -- DJEgirl... still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's only two weeks 'til Christmas., 14:54:16 12/11/05 Sun
... and created my own music video. It's a bit different from the "norm" - made of photos and screencaps (not clips), and the music is an instrumental piece. However, I'm quite pleased with it.

I,too, am having H/M withdrawals. "Bones" is fast becoming one of my favorites. Dana Coen is Ex-producer and last night's Christmas episode reminded me of our H/M Christmas stories. Is there a Bones-pack somewhere?

- I, too, am rapidly becoming hooked on Bones. It has so many qualities that JAG had - a dynamite male/female leading pair, strong supporting cast, interesting plots, and truly funny humor. (I wonder how much of that is Dana Coen's doing?) Last night's episode was a real gem, reminding me also of a JAG Christmas ep. It was a great combination of warmth and humor. I cracked up at Booth's bright red boxers, his striped Christmas socks, and his reaction to his shot. "What are those lights?" LOL! - Hello Tex-Rose, well you always wonder what you've gotten yourselve into when you volunteer but the rewards you get are undescribable. Keep up the good work. I am watching Bones too although I have to admit I think they could lighten up on all the techno language, it makes my head spin, LOL and I work in the medical profession! I've noticed that the networks are starting to advertise for new shows starting in January, any news on DJE? I was so hoping that he would have something to come out this spring but I haven't heard or seen anything. Anyone out there have any news to share?

    - Actually his deal with ABC was a 1 year contract to develop something for the network. It was posted that he was writing something with his partner and that they would possible shoot a pilot in Jan. Then the pilot will get thrown into the mix with all the other pilots bidding for airtime next fall. I'm not sure when the networks announce there new fall shows for the fall season, but I think it's around March or April or something like that. I can't remember. Loved it! I think I'm turning into a SciFi geek. Egadds. Thanks to Stargate I wasn't totally lost when they were discussing worm holes and time dilation and such. I know Carter has discussed an 'effect' preceeding a 'cause' before. Told that dang kid of mine to major in Physics - that stuff is so cool!

I do have a few lingering questions, I'll go inside so as not to spoil the one remaining person who may exist that hasn't seen it yet.

When will CB's miniseries air again? I missed out on part 3 due to a family emergency. I dont buy all that's going on with the Triangle but its a fun place to visit.
CB is a real gem and this miniseries was a huge treasure for SCI-FI. Sunny's write-up is exxxcellent.

I think the way it ended is so Bermuda Trianglish because the triangle has always been about endless possibilities and mysteries.It had some misfires but all in all it was an entertaining package.CB sure had fun and its a project where she and her fans can watch her enjoy,its an adventurous role and something that is not degrading or painful to watch.Best part is she didnt hook up with anyone.LOL!!!!! NEW YORK, NY--December 6, 2005--The premiere of Night One of SCI FI Channel's Original Miniseries 'The Triangle' averaged a 3.7HH rating and over 4.3 million viewers (P2+) in its 9-11pm block! Night One of 'The Triangle' is the highest-rated program to air on SCI FI since 2003 and is the Channel's highest-rated and most watched miniseries premiere night since the Emmy Award-winning 'Steven Spielberg Presents TAKEN' (12/2/2002, 4.9 HH/6.1 million P2+).

SCI FI's audience of over 4.3 million bests the #2 entertainment program of the day, Nickelodeon's 5pm telecast of Spongebob, by nearly half a million viewers. Wasn't it cool...and kinda creepy? The old woman....wow. I don't want to say too much in case some of you taped and didn't see part one yet, but you don't want to miss it. They will re-air last night's ep. before the new one tonight for those of you who missed it. So far the "science" part has been kept, I don't know if minimal is the right word, but it seems more mystery than sci-fi thus far.

I couldn't help but call her "Mac" at one point....I know, she's "Emily" but still, CB will always be Mac and when she was on the ship and later on the sub, it was a little hard to distinguish the two, especially when "Emily" took charge of the situation and went "diving". That's all I'll say for now...LOL!!!!!

What was the deal with Kate last night? I dozed off and missed the very first of the show but I don't think I missed much other than Kate seeing the horse and that was what started her catharsis I gather. But I need help.

What was it that Sawyer said to her and sent her off in a tizzy? I didn't get that. I also didn't get what she was saying to him when she went back at the end. Didn't make sense to me.

Did she kill her abusive self-father AND also her mother? This sounded a little like the JAG story when Mac met her dying father. Kate's father left her behind/Mac's mother left her behind, both to deal with an abusive parent.

This Dharma group sounds like they liked to play mind games with the people on the island. Interesting that Sayid only told Kate that he saw Walt and not Michael. Do you think he thought he was seeing things?

Very interesting ending. Sounds like there is another hatch that the survivors have not found yet and that is where the "others" are.

They are wonderfully gaited horses, very smooth to ride; however, for all of that, the only one I ever knew up close was very spirited and this horses actions looked as though it was, too. So, maybe they did have a handler close-by, although I saw no halter, if they had a fine loop around the neck covered by that mane, it might have been agitating the horse. NBC aired this morning a 1/2 hr. advertisement explaining how "The Triangle" was made, researched, etc. They showed several clips of the movie....looks really interesting even to a non-sci-fi person like myself. A JAG fellow, who also happens to be a SS's fan, got the DVD pack with seasons 1,2 and 3!!! I hadn't watched it in yeeeaars! Hubby and I used to watch SS together. He even remember they names were Chris and Rita ... ... The only JAG episode title - title, I say. Not what it was about! LOLOL - he can remember to this day is Friendly Fire! LOLOLOL
... I just finished watching the pilot. I didn't even remember that they had a different captain in the beginning. Funny how they kept flirting throughout the ep and Rita kept telling "Sam" how he was her best friend. Familiar, huh? LOL I was surprised to learn that Rita had a brain aneurysm. I don't remember that ever being mentioned later on in the show, but they surely toned down her Iliketoliveontheedge attitude.

Anyway, it was great to hear that guitar and the tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, ... of the opening. I have to confess I laughed at their clothes. Sooo late 80's/early 90's!! I wore those a lot!! LOLOL Chris looked like he had been yanked out of Miami Vice! LOLOLOL

I know some folks love Tim Burton and Michael Keaton's movies but for most real diehards Nolan and Christian Bale's Batman is true to the spirit because it captures his humanity and makes his likable and gains sympathy from the audience.
My question for Quinn and other Batman experts here is that Bale is about 32 years old so if Catherine is his leading lady that makes her older than Bruce.
Im torn because Im proud if CB does indeed get this role but I also think Katie and Christian look cute onscreen together. Both have that charming innocence that's perfect for Batman's arms length of love.

2.Having read below looks like I found some fellow Batman fans. I confess Im quite obsess and have fallen hard on Bruce Wayne by Christian Bale on Batman Begins.
Its not perfect to the mythology of the Bat but this Batman is a true hero,has humanity and has a soul.

3.If Im rarely here its also because Im busy discussing with fellow Batman fans on the BB boards and funny that I met lots of fellow Jagniks and many Harm and Mac shippers there. To name there is a long lists but we're having a blast and Warner Bros.,TPTB are so attentive to what the fans want thus Batman had a comeback and they dont wonna disappoint diehards for the sequels too.
Some interesting facts:
Did some of you Jag fans even knew that Catherine Bell was a favorite to be cast as Bruce Wayne's love interest?
She and Jennifer Connelly were highly favored by TPTB and fans. But turns out because TPTB wants continuity Katie Holmes will still reprise her role as Wayne's gf and Assistant D.A. It all depends if Katie Holmes will want the role because she might want to be a full time mom after her baby is born. Its still unconfirmed from her but they do want her and most of the fanbase too.
CB will still play Rachel Dawes or another actress if KH bails out.
Another casting favorite by fans, not TPTB yet is Juliane Moore or Marg Helgenberger as Sarah Essen(partner of Detective Gordon and soon to be love interest--more like an affair since he's married--ughhh this depends if the movie will follow the comics).

Didn't get to see DJE's movie last night but I did tape it....I was watching Desp. Housewives.

Speaking of which.....did we just see Bree let George die? Could that really be the end of our scary pharmisist? (sp?) If so, he had it coming...but it kind of gives you an idea of where her son gets his mean coldness from. Doesn't it? First mistake was her going up there...you know a camera caught that and the waiter certainly did. Her fingerprints are up there too. Might cause her to be accused of murder again! Not too bright. She should have stayed downstairs. I was hoping she was "wired" and taping his little death bed confession, but I guess not. She should have never answered the phone either and since she did, never admitted that she turned him in.

The whole Susan thing was dumb, Dumb, DUMB!!!!!!

As for Lynette, payback bites, doesn't it? Is that the last we're going to see of Jolie or is she just going on maternity leave?

As for Carlos and the "nun"...wouldn't it be something if she's not really a nun but a con-artist? She's quite a bit more outspoken than any nun I've ever met...and I've known lots of them. If she really is a nun they BETTER NOT make it that anything happens between her and Carlos...that would be TOO MUCH!!!!!!

As for other topics....loved NCIS last week! That's mean of me, isn't it? I just couldn't believe they wrote out Mikey...I mean "Chip" like that!!!!!!! I wonder if that was always the plan or did it change after "we" didn't receive him all that well? Hmm..... But I would say the ending was rushed. I wanted to see Abby take good 'ol Chipper DOWN!!!!!!!! They deprived us of the best part. Poor Tony....disliked by sooooo many. Reminded me of when Harm was set up and they reviewed how many people hated him.

Finally, glad to see Lorelei and Rory (Gilmore Girls) back together. It's about time!!!!!!!!!!!!

      - Sunny (Hello, by the way!), any newer television is set up to accept a DVD player or recorder. You plug the cable into the DVD player/Recorder, and then use two sets of Audio/Video cables (that's the set of three interlocked cables with red, white and yellow plugs) to run from the television to the DVD player/recorder. You also need to run a coaxial cable from the DVD player/recorder to the television and. All the newer televisions have the requisite terminals to accomplish this. I won't go into the details, but there are also higher grades of the video cables which achieve greater clarity. They are called "S-cables" and are available inexpensively. Anna Lucia took the law into her own hands when she killed her attacker after being responsible for setting him free when she wouldn't identify him; so, a better question might be, "Why was she comintg back to the States after she had obviously escaped?" In my local newspaper (I live in a semi-rural area on the outskirts of LA), I found an ad for a "new and amazing breakthrough anti-aging" product that you can only get if you mail a check to a PO box. They had a picture of a beautiful woman with a caption underneath that essentually read that the woman was an international model with a nine year old daughter. She refused to give her name because she would no longer get jobs if anyone knew her true age (late 30s). Imagine my surprise when the picture turned out to be our own Catherine Bell. It appears that this company is using her likeness without permission. So my question is...do I send it to her to let her know that her likeness is being used or do I ignore it? Help!

    - And just to add to this, CBS pulled Threshold from it's line up, but I haven't read a confirmed cancellation yet. (I fear it's inevitable) So, we won't get to see CB tomorrow night. Instead, they are putting up a rerun of Criminal Minds to replace it. =/ In my opinion, Threshold was the more intelligent of the three sci-fi/alien related series on network television.   - Right now its a guest shot that will hopefully turn into a recurring role....It all depends on whether or not Threshold gets picked up by CBS for the rest of the year....I think it was originally supposed to be like a 3 ep story arc, but who knows....I'm just glad that CB got the opportunity to get back on TV, even if its for only one episode LOL!
