Hi everyone! I finally got my DVD's!! Forced my god-daughter to watch the Pilot and Shadow with me this weekend. What? Forcing her to watch JAG with me is tradition. That was quite a scene! LOLOL Hubby and I have worked together in the same department and we were able to make it work, but it can be hard sometimes, I´ll tell you that. H&M had been on opposing camps and butted heads many times, but I think they understood they both had a job to do. Anyway, they already got in way over their heads when it got to close to home, so I don´t think working together as a married would have made much of a difference. I am melting in the hot, humid, stiffling heat. Southern Ca. is steamy horrible right now ... no matter what temp they're announcing on the nat. news. That thermometer is stuck out in the ocean for our temps because the reality is that it's 20 degrees hotter than they're reporting. Only they use the ocean temp rather than averaging the ocean and inland temp ... which would be a more accurate report. I loved that show and was really bummed that it was canceled. At least they gave us a finale versus just pulling it off the air. I just wish they let her have the nice wedding instead of city hall, but I guess they thought it would make a better storyline. ... I see ................. I´d say the UST worked up until S7. It still resembled something believable. I can´t understand S8 being what it was because CB was pregnant, and it would have been weird if TPTB had tried to pursue the romance angle with a pregnant belly between H&M. However, S9 and 10 bothered on the ridiculous. There were no more screwed-up heads, diffilcult childhoods, insecurities, inability to communicate, yadda, yadda, yadda... that would explain their not getting together. I didn't like him on Medium because ... I admit it ... he was so "un-Harm" like. And I kept thinking Harm would never do that, be so calous, etc. Stupid I know! However, based on the eps I've seen of Close to Home, I have a feeling DJE's character will be more "Harm-like" because Annabeth always wants what's right and to get at the truth.
