- I have taped Close to Home at least 3 times but have yet to watch. I don't know why, but I just can't get excited about DJE being in this show plus from what I've read about it.     - Hey Jan!!.....Nothern Exposure was one of my all time favorite shows....I Have been watching Men In Trees from the begining and I really love it....But I fear it may have a short life...The reviews compared it to Northern Exposure in not so flattering tones....But I think it's quirky enough on its own and if you begin to watch it you'll find it endearing , funny and sweet on it's own merit. - I saw that and thought it was neat. However, since they had no scenes together, you wonder if they even saw each other on set that day. I thought DJE's role would be bigger, but maybe they're testing how the audience likes him or something. CB on there would be cool but only if she has scenes w/ DJE. I have a feeling they won't do that ... at least not for a long time. Has anyone seen the actress (Kristin W. I think) who played the Romanian princess in "Washington Holiday" on Desp. Housewives?   - Forgot to add that I like Close to Home ... but that's because I used to watch it before, not just after DJE joined. Also, I like Men in Trees. I might have seen one ep. of North. Exp. and didn't like it, but I was a kid at the time. I don't think it's fair to compare shows. Has anyone been watching Runaways on the former WB? It's interesting, at least for now. - I taped Close to Home. Saw Sturgis and wanted him to go up against Harm in court. Then I remembered that he wasn't Strugis and that the gorgeous hunk wasn't Harm, and then I had to make myself keep watching because I want to believe that one day the characters will touch me and I'll like the show.   - My main problem with Close to Home is the lead actress. She does nothing for me, nothing at all. I see no chemistry on the show between any of the characters.         I haven�t seen the new season yet so I can say how much, if anything, the dynamics of the show has changed. I�ve enjoyed the ep�s but it�s not like "must-see" to me. I guess I�d agree there�s a lack of chemistry in general, but the show has only had one season. Another reason TPTB killed off the husband, IMO. It was just too neat! Of course, some shows have instant chemistry (Bones, for example), but other shows take longer to get that going. Anyway, let�s see if I�ll change my mind when I actually see it. I found myself liking Aidan for Carrie better than Big for Carrie. Did you feel the same way? I do not know.....Big did not look "down to the earth" enough for me. I meant he is a bit mysterious from S3-5 and looks somewhat unstable". In the other hand, Aidan seems pertty lovable!

However, I understand it may be due to the fact that I did not watch Season 1 and 2 and TPTB for all shows like to play with us, poor audience. So, I would like to ask for some insights :):)! Thanks!!

It has been so quiet here. Let me start some OT topic.

I recently watched DVD of "Sex and the city" for the first time(Very late, I know) and Gray's anatomy. I liked Gray's anatomy! :) As for "Sex and the city", I had mixed feelings. It was soooooo funny at the times!! I was laughing my six off (BTW, Micky darling, are they typical New Yorkers? :) I, however, am not comfortable about some themes, like Carrie's affair with Big (I know I am a prude sometimes!!). What about you? Do you guys like it? Of course, I like Harm and Mac better :)!

I�ve seen the first two and I liked both. Though, I did like the second one better. Don�t know why. The little boy in the last ep broke my heart! I don�t know if he was really crying at the end, or if they mixed the crying and the images, but he truly looked sooo helpless!!

I�m loving Cam! She�s so funny! The "all I hear is blah, blah, blah.." is the last ep was hilarious! LOL And so is "jealous Bones"! LOLOL I must confess when I read the spoilers about her character I didn�t like her. Perhaps because the spoilers focused too much on her past romantic relationship with Booth, but that didn�t happen to be so when I actually saw the eps!

- I'm still not crazy about her. I liked the old director better, because he was just around as a foil, not as actively involved. Also, because she is so active, I doubt that we'll see JMJ as much, if ever, and I really don't like that.   - Micky, I think that with the last episode of last year and the next few of this year, her character is just being fleshed out. We found out that she thought her parents were dead when they were not and that she was a foster child and that all of ithad an effect onher. I think it is amazing that she was able to go so far (they usually don't portray these kids as having much of a chance in life--sad, but that's how they do it); nevertheless, she is a bit cynical, reserved and distant because of her background. Booth is starting to get through and therein lies the future hope for some more UST.   - I guess it�s because, most of the time, she interacts with the rest of the world from a scientist�s standpoint. Losing her parents and growing up in foster care took a huge toll on her. First let me just say HI to everyone. I've been here since season six and have posted very infrequently. But I love you guys.

I�ve never been so invested in a show before. And even now that it�s gone for a while, I can�t get our favorite couple out of my head. Pop back in here often just to see what�s going on (it�s been kind of slow lately though). I jump between here and the Harmyboard. I thought I was satisfied with the series ending but as each day goes by, I find that I feel cheated, CHEATED I tell you. I wanted more. I wanted a little courting. A little back and forth with the friendly barbs. Was a little dinner and a movie too much to ask for? I mean, in a way, the ending made sense. The got right to the point but then again, it was just a bit too summarized.

I even miss the great fanfic that used to be out there. I miss the virtual season. I miss the Valarie sagas. I want more of CharS� Couples Therapy. I understand that the muse isn�t there anymore but, SIGH, I�m experiencing serious withdrawal symptoms here. I just read something by LizD over at Fanfiction.net (The Cold Light of Day). It didn�t have a �ride off into the sunset� kind of ending. H&M had kids, ups and downs, worries, fights, you know, real life stuff. But it was totally imaginable. I wanted a little of that in the end.

SIGH! I�m let to use my imagination, but that was never so great anyway. So in the end, I guess I just continue to visit you folks (I consider you friend, even if we�ve never met) for as long as it lasts. Thanks for hanging around. Thanks for letting me vent a little. I think I go back a reread a few fics.

The only solace that I might offer is that I doubt if TPTB would have given us what we wanted IF the stars hadn't aligned just the way they did! - I think Season ONE was good. We were reminded of the "Flyboy Harm" even though he was grounded he still had that flyboy charm. I am enjoying watching 10 years back and remembering how things were. I was impressed at how well the stock footage was intergrated into the scenes smoothly. They did a very good job considering it was actually 11 years ago.
