In reply to: Acer 's message, "OT: I was wondering if you guys like Grey's anatomy. It is becoming my favorite show!" on 03:46:57 05/03/09 Sun

I actually liked Grey's the first season, and then I thought it became a caricature of itself, with everyone jumping into bed with anyone else. It became a bore, and liking action (even THAT kind of action, when it really makes sense to the storyline), I gravitated away. I am a BIG CHUCK fan. It has everything going for it: spoof, romance, action, comedy--just lots of fun. I liked LOST until it double backed on itself to the point where you have to be concerned about what little nuance you might have missed, rather than what is happening in the moment. So, try as I might not to be, because DPB lost his concentration on our JAG because of it, I am now a confirmed NCIS fan!!! I like The Unit, 24--a BIG fan, and for reality--The Amazing Race. I really like the travelogue aspect, imagining that I am seeing some of you when "we" race through parts of the world that I am unlikely to get to visit in my life; however, I get embarassed by some of the contestants continuing to show our "ugly" American side. It's alright for anyone, from any nation, to feel pride and superiority in their nation--it's just tactless to show it at the expense of the hospitality of the host country. Finally, CSI is still a favorite; but, Grissomless, it is just not the same.

The big problem? They all get trumped by BLUES hockey in winter and of course, Cardinals baseball in the spring and summer.

[> [> [> What can I say, Carrotts, but that "great minds...watch the same television shows." How else would we all have gathered here? By the way, I completely forgot to mention the greatest UST going, Bones where Booth and Bones are doing their best Harm and Mac impression! I love it! Now, Bones is about to propose a "Baby Deal" with Booth. Sorry, Micky... -- Postrider. With her looks and her brains...Oh, I guess Seeley is alright for a guy, but I'm NOT into guys!, 05:41:44 05/05/09 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> LOL Lucia! But word on the street is that even if they don't fulfill the deal they are gonna have a great time trying. :-) I love Bones, too, Posty! I hear Castle is cancelled, but I was starting to like that show as well. -- Carrotts, 09:24:53 05/05/09 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> Now you´re talking!! LOL If that will be the excuse for the BD, I´m all FOR it. I hope BD won´t turn into a melodrama, though. I like the light-hearted nature of their relationship. It does remind me of H&M in earlier seasons. -- Lucia, 09:24:48 05/06/09 Wed
