Author: Postrider, proving once again that baseball is a metaphor for Life.
Subject: Out...as in strike out...which is what Harm did when he tried to hit a home run before the umpire (Mac) even cried, "play ball!" The game wasn't on...they were merely exchanging line-up cards (speaking of cards; GO CARDS--we're going to need all the help we canget!). Double headers are very seldom played anymore, so this one was a late night, extra inning affair finished AFTER the pregame ceremony at McMurphy's!!!
In reply to: Carrotts 's message, "Game - like when Harm and Mac had that great double play on the ball field. And speakin of which, boy did the duo play well BEFORE they went to McMurphys!!!! Maybe even twice...er, double times." on 10:11:09 01/15/08 Tue
