Finally, a crumb for David James Elliott's loyal fans. The JAG alum will star in Impact, a four-hour, $13 million miniseries about the disaster that ensues when a piece of a dwarf star lodges itself in the moon, triggering a series of anomalies on Earth, including exaggerated tides, sporadic weightlessness and (the horror!) cell-phone service interruption.Per the Reporter, Elliott will play an astrophysicist who with a help of a lady astronomer concluded that the moon is now on a collision course with Earth. I've been sent off to boarding school for two weeks. If I didn't know better ~~cough~~ I'd think the boss hates me. Three different air-planes and then a bus to the middle of no-where Virginia. Who knew there even was a middle of no-where Virginia? I do... now.

Anyway a wasp tagged along on the bus ride from Salisbury to here. Dang thing was angry and dive-bombing us. We tried to elect someone to kill it. The other lone female and I immediately pulled the "female" card. Oh, yes, we did. One guy just ignored us.... the wuss. The other guy told us he had been petrified of bees and wasps since childhood and that if he missed he would ...."scream like a school girl!". Funny thing is that if you could picture Tiner now, with a few years of practicing law under his belt, I bet he'd be just like this guy. I'd like to report that our "Tiner" got himself together and rid us of that creature. Our hero! Gosh I miss JAG.

On another note, the first thing they told us in class was "Do not run on the run-way!" The thought hadn't crossed my mind, go figure, but guess where I'm about to go.. What? I've been here a week, got another to go and I am bored to death!!! LOLOL!!!

It was about a couple who wanted to have a baby. The man dies before he could give his, um, donation. There is legal wrangling with the hospital which eventually allows an extraction to occur. Just as they are about to begin, the man's wife shows up! I love Grey's Anatomy & respect Shonda very much, but this was close to a complete script lift from JAG. I was very disappointed in the whole thing.

- I really wanted Private Practice to blow me away. I love Addison. I think Shonda is brilliant. I, too, was underwhelmed. I don't particularly like it when I can guess a plot. When I can practically say the dialog along with the characters I really hate it. I'll tivo it for a few more weeks to give them time to catch their stride but that's it.   - This reminds of me of an ep of Studio 60 (love it, btw) I saw the other day. Somebody comes up with a joke and they put it on the air. Later, they find out that a comedian had used it on a stand-up performance a year earlier. They contact the guy only to find out he had copied it from someone else. Ok. September is here, and with it, the new seasons. Here´s my 'ins and outs' list:

LOST - I have to confess that as much as I love LOST, I´ve gotten totally lost and don´t think I´ll be able to catch up before the new season begins.

Desperate Housewives - Same goes. Plus, I sorta, kinda lost interest ...

CSI (The original one) - I can´t wait to see what happens to Sarah!!

CSI Miami - Now that I´m home in the mornings, I´ve been catching up, and I´´ve been enjoying them! Should I ... ..? LOL Mr. 'Iamthecoolestguyaroundcheckmysungalasses' is really something!

Jerico - Has anyone seen it? I caught the first ep the other day. The premise is a bit farfetched, but it was ok.

Eureka - I caught the first ep for that too, but it was just too silly!

Cold Case is a must-see, and so is Without a Trace.

Law & Order - I´m really looking forward to seeing to Jack McCoy (sp?) as THE D.A. It´s a shame the first lady detective is not coming back. I liked her.

I'm at the airport leaving Florida ~~~shouts to DJEgirl~~~ and I must share another fantasy bubble that was burst during my stay this week.

Remember that episode of JAG where Mac has to defend that guy who beat his wife and killed her boyfriend...the one where Bud and Harriett were making out on the beach in the middle of the night? Let me say: No way, Hosea!!! While on TDY we work long days, but a co-worker said we should go for a stroll on the beach to unwind late one evening. I've never strolled the beach at night, for obvious reasons, but he's a big guy so I figured nobody would attack us/him....me. Duhh. Nobody did, but did you all know that all sorts of creatures stroll the beach at night? Evil blood sucking, toe crunching creatures? MY GAWD!!!! They were everywhere!! My co-worker had to carry me about a quarter mile through the sand to safety. I'd a felt sorry for his poor huffing, sweating self but that would mean that I would have to walk. And I was NOT walking!! Now back to Bud and Harriett. Can you imagine exposing sensitive body parts to that menagerie? I don't think so. If you are going to make out on the beach, I say it must be duing the day....at least for me. LOL!

Well I was sitting in an auditorium for my god-daughter's high school graduation earlier this summer when a man and his young son (about 3 or 4) took an empty seat next to me. I noticed the child as he walked by, our eyes met and I smiled at him. A few minutes later I noticed out of the corner of my eye that he was staring at me - so I looked at him and smiled a hello. There was a lull in the proceedings so it was very quiet when the child touched me on the arm and said in a very clear high pitched voice that carried for several rows... "You're not a lady!!" I was just watching an ep of CTH. Good ep. The one before season finale, if I got it right. Lots going on. DJE´s character between a rock and a hard place with reelection (Maybe I was not paying attention, but I didn´t realize he was THE D.A.... ). Interesting story with Anabelle (sp?). I like that actor ... whatshisname, eh, the one who played Marty in Back to the Future first??? I´ll try and watch the next to know what will happen...LOL... - Boy, you've been out of the loop. You need to go over to the Unofficial CB Board. CB's career is going gangbusters and her new series "Army Wives" premieres on Lifetime June 3 at 10 pm. They are promoting the daylights out of her new series on just about every network. Have you been hibernating Lucia...lol. They've also got a full page ad in both TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly on her new show. They are even showing a sneek preview of the premiere in Landmark Theatres in 4 big cities in the US. CB's guest appearance on "Law & Order SVU" was great and her movie "Still Small Voices" was amazing. It is summer again. I am thinking to visit a new country later this year. So far, my trips are mostly for business. This time, I want to travel alone (I even do not want to tell my family about it)!! :) :) My idea is to have a whole week completely for myself to be alone and experience new things. New things include new cultures and languages for me. I think I would like to travel to a place where I can not understand the language :):)! So, we eliminate all English or Chinese speaking countries.

I am thinking of somewhere in Europe, like Switzerland (It would be fun to see the Alps). I could not decide. You suggestions would be highly appreciated :):)!!

Sorry I missed your message Spud. I hope you had a great time. I actually live on St. Croix that has the misfortune of being one of the few caribbean destinations that does not host cruise ships anymore. But that's politics for another day. St. Thomas is but 40 miles by sea or air from St. Croix and a round trip fare is almost $200.00. But next time one of you Packers are in the area let me know by dropping a line at my e-mail addy that I have included. I don't always get time to visit the board. We do have an office in St. Thomas. If I can find an excuse to get over to St. Thomas during one of your visits that will be great. Our offices on St. Thomas is on the main drag in downtown Charlotte Amalie where most of the ships dock. On a JAG note, I so miss that show. I still read fanfic to live in dreamworld when thing get crazy. And the Harmyboard provides a nice "retreat from hell" at times. Glad to see you're all still holding on here. Take care.

Among many rather depressing news, I think this story is certainly a nice break!

A news said that a former Miss USA (1944; she is 82 years old) stoped thieves by herself (she has a gun) in her land!!!! This is super super cool!! :) I wish I will have her spirits if I am lucky enough to live to my 80s!!!
