Subject: If you get that little extra squeeze in, an embrace turns into a hug. But then again when I try to give the icky deacon at church a pius sideways hug, he turns it into an all out frontal embrace and on occasion has made it a full-out hug. ew. You embrace after a shared traumatic experience with a friend for mutual comfort, but if the hands start rubbing and caressing it turns into a hug. You embrace your lover when meeting for, uh lunch...and then hug good-bye when lunch is, uh over.
