Subject: Not losing any weight, but getting thinner

I found an old bracelet that my husband bought me for I think our 3rd anniversary. At that time it barely fit, I have big bones, and I don't think he realized it, (plus I was fat besides). Anyway it broke at some point, and I stopped wearing it. Last night I decided to try and fix it. One of the links was split open and couldn't be closed unless I had a way to weld gold (I don't), so I removed that link which removed about 1/4 inch from the length of the bracelet.

It fits. I know that before if I had tried fixing it this way I wouldn't have been able to wear it, so that is a milestone.

My friend called me the other day and I was telling her about wearing my wedding dress the other day in spite of being about 50 pounds heavier (she was my bridesmaid).

And she started to tell me a story about her sister. She said that her sister Mary who has always been this tiny little thin thing, started working out with a personal trainer. Her trainer told her not to worry if she gained weight after starting to work out.

Mary was complaining to Pam saying "But I've always weighed 108 pounds, I now weigh 129!" Like she was horrified at that. Muscle weighs more than fat. Believe it.
