I also thought about buying the Pentasol and read up a little about it. In their clinical test they gave the placebo patients a formula which had dextrose and I am under the impression that dextrose is a form of sugar. As you may be aware, sugar raises your insulin and causes your liver to produce an enzime which produces cholesterol.

To be fair and honest to Pentasol, I have never tried it and I don't really know much about it.

Hope this sheds some light in to the matter.
