Well somedays I do forget to eat. Usually on days off, or mornings when I forget to eat breakfast and then don't have lunch until late. I can actually go for hours and hours without eating, especially if I get busy doing something that is more important to me. I've been trying to force myself to remember to eat. I've been trying to make sure I eat something before going to work, otherwise I can go until 2 or later before eating at all for the day, and I know that isn't good for me.

Some days I go open the fridge, and nothing in there looks good or low carb, and I wind up closing it again and walking away. Sometimes we get busy after work and no one starts cooking until late and I decide to go to bed instead of eating. I do eat, just not enough for my weight. And I guess my bad habits over the years have slowed my metabolism way down so that I don't really need to eat, but that also stops my chances for weight loss.

As far as protein is concerned, I guess I need to make sure and get the right amount so that I don't go and eat carbs instead. They still tempt me a lot. I think that even on days when I eat a lot of carbs, I still don't eat enough calories for the day, (usually that is, some days I may go way over). 80 grams of protein seems like a lot of meat to me. An ounce has 7 grams so I would need to eat over 11 ounces of meat a day. I guess it is possible, I may already eat that much, but I'm not sure that I do every day.
