Subject: Well you know what - I gave in

Even though it went against everything I believe in, (ie. sticking to the diet consistantly works best), I couldn't take the pressure anymore. I was constantly craving sugar and fake sweets just weren't gonna cut it this time.

One thing about this plan, is when I stick to my diet and I don't want to, I become really irritable due to the fact I feel deprived. I was in a sucky mood and that wasnt gonna cut it today either. This is the last weekend before school starts for the little ones and I've got beach patrol. EVERYBODY is going to be at the beach; it's gonna be a zoo.

Funny thing, I gave in and went to the 7-11 and bought some chocolate. I ate it on the way home, and I already feel more optimistic about the day and about the future. What is it about sugar that can do that so abruptly to a person? I know I'll probably have a sugar crash in about an hour, but for now it's exactly what my body needed. I plan on getting back on track with my very next meal, so hopefully I haven't done too much damage. Well, thanks for letting me vent... love yas! Kel
