Sometimes I go through the same depressing stage. My way out is that I "clean" out the fridge and go grocery shopping with a list in hand of low carb foods. Also,go to the recipe section and get some new recipes to follow and get those ingredients. Lots of variety is the key. Make sure that you have a refrigerator full of LC foods or the temptation to stray becomes too strong and failure is just around the corner. Another thing I get is lots of different sugar free liquids to drink. Kool aid, 3 different kinds of soda, sf flavored tea mixes.

Another thing to do would be to make a chart of what you will be doing for the whole day and fill in any gaps that leave you thinking about food with a favorite activity like walking, going to a movie, shopping, visiting friends and you bring a snack or drink, etc...

And don't forget to post on this site everyday, more often if you need to. Sometimes you will find that no one answers your posts but still keep sending them in!!! It is very therapuetic.

Good luck and remember that we are all in the same boat when we struggle everyday with our weight and looks!

  • I beg to differ on the hunger thing lol; but then again, I'm the exception. My calories per day should be around 1700. That just keeps me too hungry. (NT) -- Kel, 07:36:55 08/27/02 Tue
