Subject: A slight miscalculation

Well for the longest time, I had been weighing myself on my bathroom scale. However, at the same time, I'd been weighing myself on my doctor's scale & on the gym scale at work. The doc's scale and the gym's scale were showing everything from 8-12 lbs difference (upward). I attributed this to my scale probably a little off and it being later in the day when I weighed on the other scales. I didn't really let it bother me because I knew that before the diet, I had ALSO weighed on my bathroom scale, so at least the amount of weight LOST was correct.

Well finally, after hearing me whine over and over about wishing I knew what I really weighed, my mother went out and bought me an expensive accurate scale. Man, this thing is really accurate too. You can step on and off of it like 100 times and it continue to register the same number. The bad news is I'm not 138; I'm actually exactly 10lbs higher than that = 148. This means that I must have been 180 when I first started trying to lose excess weight. Wow, no WONDER I still see fat when I look in the mirror!

Anyway, now that yall know I'm not 138 like I thought I was, I think I'll go make breakfast lol (LC breakfast of course). I have a festival to go to today put on by our city, and I'm allowing myself something if I really want it, but there is no reason to start out the day cheating.

Tomorrow I will be doing better on my plan, and Monday starts a new No Stopping Us 3-Day Challenge. I plan to keep true to each 3-day challenge to the rest of August. I want to make sure I reach my August goal of... well shoot I guess it's 147 now (137 sounded so much better to me lol). Anyway, I've still lost the same amount of weight, so that's something to be happy about. Everyone have a great LC day!
