Subject: Get yourself through the induction period. I admit, you will feel like death warmed over for the first few days. The more carb addicted you are, the worse you will feel. It doesn't last. Somewhere between day 3 and 5, you should start to feel terrific (More...)

If you continue to feel bad after induction, raise your carbs per the instructions in Atkins book. A lot of people (especially those with a lot of weight to lose), are afraid to raise their carbs up beyond the 20 recommended for induction.

Don't be afraid to raise your carbs to a level where you maintain ketosis or are still losing. I know people who've stalled out at 20-30 carbs per day, and raised it up to 50-60 and started losing again. This diet is between you and your body and what it takes for you to lose successfully AND STILL FEEL GOOD!

Check out some of the recipe sites. There are bread and muffin recipes for after induction. Check out some of the LC product sites and your local health food stores. There are LC cereals (hot cereal Flax-O-Meal is supposed to be good/ cold cereal Keto Crisp is supposed to taste like rice crispies). The Flax-O-Meal is a particularly good choice since it is full of fiber.

The cravings do subside. Give the diet and yourself some time. Your health is worth it!!!
