Subject: Diverticulitus

Lately there has been some discussion on another list I subscribe to about a condition called Diverticulitus (sp?)... Anyway, this is the first time I've ever heard of the condition and it doesn't sound like fun. Many folks on this other board either have it, or they know all about it, yet I've never seen it discussed here. From what I'm reading on the other list is that it is a condition that develops from not getting enough fiber and it lasts for life.

I follow a moderate LC plan and I already get a lot of fiber in my diet, plus I take fibercon everyday, so I don't think this will ever be an issue for me, but still it got me thinking. What is this thing?
