Subject: Yes Heather I do follow Protein Power by Dr. Michael Eades and I love it. You can buy the book on Amazon.com and even read a few passages of it before you decide to purchase it. Another great book I recommend is "Anatomy of a Food Addiction" by Anne Katherine (this is the one that explains why people eat for reasons other than hunger.)

  • I do the CAD/CALP thing for times where I have no control over what is being served or occasionally when I feel like something that my plan doesn't allow for. I follow Atkins, most of the time and I'm trying to maintain 60-70 carbs a day including 30-35 grams of fiber. (NT) -- Katie, 12:03:52 07/08/02 Mon
  • Katie, when I started back on low carb I tried CAD for a few days and loved it, but wasn't losing weight as quick as I have with Atkins before. So, I had decided to do the same thing you are doing and follow Atkins most of the time, but when you go to someone's house for dinner and they serve carbs- then I have a CAD dinner.
