Lots of us are on different plans. Some are even on CAD (which allows one high carb meal a day), so a long time ago we established it that "cheating is anything that YOU consider cheating".

For some it would even include too many legal treats in a day, for others a plan like yours wouldn't be cheating.

For me? I basically consider it going too high in carbs for the day no matter what I am eating. I also consider it eating what I consider "forbidden foods". Now mind you chocolate (in small quantities) isn't necessarily one of those. I consider potatoes, white bread, and most sweets to be "forbidden".

I too am a chocoholic, I satisfy these cravings in several ways. One is to make cream shakes. Take about a cup of water, a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, some splenda, or sugar free syrup, a bunch of ice and blend it together into a blender, then after blended add some cream. Tastes like a milk shake, has chocolate, and isn't terribly high in carbs.

Another thing I sometimes do is to buy diabetic chocolate. There is one called Guylian which is "no sugar added" from Belgium and tastes almost as wonderful as the real thing. 15 grams of carb for 8 squares, so you can't eat too many, but it does fill the bill for me.

On the other hand ShellyP. who was on this board (and hasn't posted much lately), started this diet about a year ago, and weighed what I do now. She managed to be very committed, lost almost all of her weight in about 8 months, and she once told me: "I plan to be on this WOL for life, so I eat real chocolate once in awhile. I just make sure they are the miniatures". (something like that).

So what you are doing isn't necessarily bad, as long as you can keep it under control. For me, I knew that if I bought the miniatures, I wouldn't stick to just one. In fact I am a "treasures" freak, and when I buy a bag it is generally gone pretty quickly. However I have lost weight on days that I felt like I cheated by eating the darn things.

So if you are losing, keep on keeping on. IF you should stop losing, well then you will know where to draw the line and start cutting back.
