My son-in-law has done years of research on the phototopic effects of sun and on skin cancer. Please don't get out in the sun. The Ozone layer ain't what it used to be. Skin cancer is the number one cancer killer in the US. A bottle tan can be just as lovely, but it requires a bit of skill -- gained through practice. Spread the lotion on evenly and lightly. Reapply after a few hours if you want a deeper color. Go very easy on the skin of elbows, ankles and knees which absorb color more heavily. I can recommend NoAd, a brand I buy at Wal-Mart.
