Maha, Yes, you are right. It is time to take control of your life. While you are only 30-35 pounds overweight, you are also only 23. This is an age when losing weight is a lot easier than it is 20-30 years later. Sweetie, PLEASE take charge NOW! Now you can make a permanent lifestyle change. Just jump on that train. Start drinking nearly a gallon of water or seltzer or club soda a day. Do some sports activity (swimming or walking or jogging or exercise of your choice) 4 or 6 times a week for half an hour or 45 minutes. Low carb. That means reading and understanding one of the low carb diet book plans such as Atkins. Take vitamins and recommended nutrient supplements. Pay attention to the details and follow the plan scrupulously. If you slip and slide, climb back on. Be patient. Give yourself at least three months. You will feel super, be VERY motivated, and look REAL good -- I guarantee it. Babe, you CAN do it! I am almost three times your age and I am doing it. But I've lived a full life ... you have a full life yet to live. So get ready!
