I like those figures better. The other one seemed a bit high. This one still has me eating over 2100 calories a day, but at least I don't have to aim for 2700 which seemed close to impossible.

I found that when I was close to 2100 for those few days last month, I was losing, I never did come close to 2700 calories.

It would be interesting to find out what the cutting off point is. What the low point is where you can't lose, and where the high point is where you can't lose. And what the range is where you can.

Anyway thanks for finding this site, this makes a little more sense. I really think that other site was meant for body builders anyway.

  • I did this one time each at the two lowest activity levels and came up with a range of 1900-2200 to lose. Big, big difference from the 2500-2900 range that I got with the other calculation. (NT) -- Katie, 12:32:14 06/04/02 Tue
